I am extremely pleased with this MacBook Pro. It was rated "Very good" and it is better than that. It looks and feels about as brand new as I could hope for. I just lost my job and along with it the computer I used for years, so I had to buy one of my own for the first time in 20 years. But being unemployed I had to conserve and not buy new. This turns out to be a great option. All is good with this transaction. Will certainly look here first for anything else I need.

So far I am extremely pleased with my MacBook. The battery appears to be in good shape and doesn’t drain quickly. There were a few cosmetic scuff marks as expected for “fair condition.” I received 2020 MacBook Pro for 25% of what it cost new with 2 year warranty.

While I ordered the laptop under the impression that it had 16gb of memory, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the seller increased RAM to 32gb at no additional cost to me. After I put the MacBook Pro to sleep, I've noticed that it boots up without delay when I wake it up, unlike my 10 year old laptop that I recently donated to a recycling center. Getting used to the 2020 MacBook Pro configured with Thunderbolt and USB-C ports and not having an Ethernet or audio out port has been a challenge. It took me a few weeks of online research to locate and install all the adapters I needed to connect the laptop to the peripherals that I use on a regular basis, such as my external monitor, wired keyboard, and "legacy" printer. The MacBook Pro was configured with the Ventura (macOS 13) operating system. My recommendation is to stick to that OS and not upgrade to Sonoma (macOS 14), as the latter behaves very erratically with a USB keyboard and mouse installed. I needed to take advantage of the online instructions I found to downgrade the OS to Ventura (not a trivial task).

So far, I have a couple times where I was running what I thought were low-stress apps, but my MacBook froze on me and I had to completely shut it down and turn it back on. And the only problem is that I don't want to have to return it for another device because of how long the exchange process could potentially take. The only potentially big problem is the arrival date. My device required a signature upon arrival. BackMarket told me that my device would arrive on a Saturday. H...

ordered in fair condition and the MacBook doesn't look anything short of brand new, it took me a couple of minutes to even find a flaw but it did have a tiniest scratch on the bottom. only 1 charge on the battery and everything is beyond expectations. I was nervous after placing my order that id regret going with fair condition especially for the price I paid and I really can't be happier

Your laptop replaces the 14 year old MacBook that I have trouble with since it is no longer supported. Your device came in beautiful condition, fast and elegant. As with any change, I have had some problems, but not with you. Instead with the games and programs I enjoy that no longer work on a newer machine. My favorite is Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri from 1998. It has been a stable for me since it came out and, frankly, I mourn its passing. I'm looking for a more current replacement, but like the 68 Ford Station Wagon I wrecked back in 98, it is impossible to fill those shoes to satisfaction. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my contentment with my new MacBook. It is a very nice machine without hassle and high price. Blessings to you.

I am astounded at how well this went. I mean blown away by the quality of the macbook, how well she runs, how quickly it was in my hands after I completed my order. I checked out and I swear it was on my door step 2 days later. I selected the "good" condtion and yet-this thing looks brand new perfect. Insurance plan is real cheap and totally worth it for what it covers. Computer arrived clean, charged and ready to set up-no problems so far AND the packaging was low plastic and low waste to boot. Never buying tech from anywhere else except backmarket because this was such a stellar experience tbh.
