Samsung Galaxy Note 10 vs iPhone 11 Comparison

iPhone 11 vs Galaxy Note 10

Samsung released the Galaxy Note 10 in August 2019, about a month before Apple’s iPhone 11 release. While these smartphones hit the market around the same time, they are very different when it comes to their design, software, and features. If you’re not sure which is better, you’re not alone. Read on to find out what key differences between the iPhone 11 and Note 10.

Design and Display: the Note 10 is more stylish than the iPhone 11

The first thing you might notice when looking at these phones side-by-side is that the Note 10 is much sleeker than the iPhone 11. Both phones are around the same height, but the iPhone 11 is wider and thicker than the Note 10, giving it a stockier look. The iPhone 11 is also a bit heavier than the Note 10. The thinner and lighter Note is easier to hold than the iPhone 11.

The Note 10 comes in 3 colors: Aura Black, Aura White, and Aura Glow which has a fun rainbow ombre effect. You’ll have more color choices in the iPhone 11, with six options: Black, White, Green, Yellow, Purple, and Red. While there are fewer choices for the Note 10, the Aura Glow option is a bit like getting several colors in one!

Another clear difference in design is the notch at the top of the iPhone display, which houses the front-facing camera. The Note 10’s front camera is more cleverly hidden, giving it a sleeker look and making the screen seem even larger. Speaking of screen size, the Note 10 boasts a big 6.3-inch screen which is even more impressive given its compact size. The iPhone 11 has a slightly smaller 6.1-inch screen.

Size isn’t the only difference between the displays on these two phones. The Samsung Note 10 has an OLED screen with a much higher color contrast than the iPhone 11's LCD screen. In terms of design and display, we think the Note is the clear winner in this comparison between the Note 10 and iPhone 11.

Battery life: the iPhone 11 is more power efficient

While the slimmer design of the Note may have prevented Samsung from putting a bigger battery in the device, its 3500 mAh battery is still bigger than the iPhone 11’s 3110 mAh battery. In this case though, size isn’t everything. The Samsung device consumes a lot more energy, largely because its OLED screen is more power hungry than iPhone 11’s LCD screen.

Both phones should easily get you through a day of normal use without needing to recharge.

However, Apple iOS is also known to be much more power efficient than Android OS. On average, you can probably get a few more hours of battery life out of the iPhone 11 than the Note 10.

Galaxy Note 10 vs iPhone 11: Processor and speed, which device is faster?

The iPhone 11 runs on Apple’s A13 Bionic chip while the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855. While Apple's chips are known to be faster than their Android counterparts, most users won't notice the difference while using these phones. They're both equipped with top-notch chips that deliver fast performance.

Galaxy Note 10 vs iPhone 11: Which has a better camera?

The Note 10 and iPhone 11 both have high-quality cameras, sensors, and multiple lenses. While the iPhone 11 has a 12MP front camera compared to the Note’s 10MP front camera, the Note adds an extra lens and higher megapixel count to its rear camera system. Despite these differences, the iPhone 11 offers a better night mode and more natural color reproduction in most scenarios. Both devices’ cameras are strong enough that there really isn't enough of a difference to call a clear winner here.

Which is better: iPhone 11 or Galaxy Note 10?

These two phones have comparable specifications and were built to compete directly with each when they were released, but the deciding factor for most users is simply their preference for either Android or Apple iOS.

Android users tend to like the ability to customize their smartphone experience, while Apple fans enjoy the user-friendly interface and seamless integration with the brand’s other products. While switching from Apple to Android (or vice-versa) may seem daunting, plenty of people do it all the time!
