What’s the difference between Certified Renewed and all the other renewed electronics you sell at Back Market?

Certified Renewed electronics have been refurbished directly by the brands that originally manufactured them or one of their authorized affiliates. That means that they come with official accessories and packaging, as well as the reassurance that these devices meet manufacturer quality standards perfectly. 

Other renewed electronics sold on Back Market have been tested, refurbished and cleaned by independent refurbishers. These don’t usually come with original accessories or packaging, but they are still guaranteed to have perfect functionality. You will also have the ability to choose the appearance of these devices (Excellent, Good, Fair) vs. Certified Renewed devices that always appear like-new.

Are Certified Renewed electronics clean?

Yes. All the items sold on Back Market are thoroughly sanitized. This may include the use of UV light to kill 99.9% of germs and other cooties and the replacement of high touch components.

What does the warranty cover?

Electronics sold on Back Market automatically come with a 1-year limited warranty. This covers defects including network, button, and camera issues. Just sign on to your account and send a message if you need help and someone should get back to you within 24 hours.
