This is a newer version of my old computer. This was a refurbished model and honestly you wouldn't be able to tell except for the label on the box. Works perfectly, no issues at this point. The transaction with Back Market was easy, shipping quick. I would shop with them again.

Fantastic! After some negative experience with another vendor (Regadget LLC) who sent me an "excellent" notebook with different (less performant) specs and vinyl glued over the actual less than "excellent" condition, I now received a truly excellent notebook that is worth its description. Got it! Here’s an updated review that reflects the missing internal battery wasn't mentioned: I recently purchased a used Lenovo ThinkPad T480, and overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. Physically, the laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad T495) is like new. However, it does freeze up at times (it can't handle much happening at once) and and has to be shut down to fix. The battery lasts about 2 hours depending on what I'm doing. This is my first laptop, so I don't know what is normal, but it seems decent for what I wanted for casual studying.

Quick summary: • Delivered faster than estimated • Packaged securely • Laptop overall was as expected (Purchased as: 'Excellent' from, 'BuyRefurbished') Notable additions: For a refurbished item, this was great. I've never thought positively of fixed things, nor ever bought an item that was expensive that is fixed. Back Market has me thinking now. Only has a small area at the bottom that is scratched and the cover around the logo on the back screen of it is lifting a bit. All physical—internally, seems fine. Ending: I'd highly recommend not spending so much on a brand new item, Back Market is very suitable. Everything is new when it's new to you.

i was skeptical about the laptop before i bought it because i’ve never bought refurbished tech before, but i can genuinely say i love this laptop. it has high speeds, it’s not super heavy for its size, the LED keyboard displays helps in the dark, and it’s very customizable. i’d recommend it to anyone! it’s great for school or casual use!

Is the Used Lenovo ThinkPad a Good Laptop?

You’ll be happy with a used Lenovo ThinkPad if you get one with good specs that isn’t more than 5 years old :D Although all refurbished ThinkPads are great quality computers, I wouldn’t suggest spending less than $400 on one (unless you’re getting a Lenovo Chromebook) because a computer starts to get noticeably slower after 5 years.

Which Refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad is Best?

My Personal favorite is the Lenovo X1 Carbon thanks to its premium specs and thin form factor. But to be honest, I think my favorite ThinkPad would be one that gives me the best specs (like an i7 processor and a lot of RAM) at the best price. There are a lot of model names that you’ll see when looking through our selection of budget Lenovo ThinkPads, but don’t let the different model names confuse you. Just know that you’ll be getting a great quality computer for a great price with just about any affordable Lenovo laptop that you choose to buy.

What is the Best Type of Cheap Lenovo ThinkPad?

In terms of value, there are so many different types of affordable Lenovo ThinkPads. There’s the T-series, S-series, L-series, X-series, but really just try to find a good deal on any of them that gives you great specs and has the most recent model year. So whether it’s a T460, T560, or L470, look for an affordable ThinkPad deal that gives you an i5 processor (or i7, this is even better), at least 8GB of RAM, and isn’t more than 5 years old. And remember, the more recent the model year, the faster the processor, so don’t be afraid to spend a few extra bucks if you see a relatively new refurbished ThinkPad for a surprisingly low price. You can really find some great deals on ThinkPads if you spend some time digging through our website :D

Since there are so many different types of Lenovo ThinkPads, you can browse for one that gives you the best specs for the best price. Even though cheap Lenovo ThinkPads don’t have the same “trendy factor” as MacBooks, it means they can give you better value for a better price. Let’s face it, MacBooks can be overpriced when compared to affordable Lenovo ThinkPads like a used X1 Carbon, Yoga, or T-series laptop.
