I have received my MacBook Pro in a fair state, with a battery level of around 90% and 204 cycles. Initially, I was unable to use Apple Pay due to modified computer security. When attempting to update the system to the latest 2024 sequoia update, the interface displayed in Russian lettering. To resolve this, I installed a fresh iOS program and was then able to update the system. Although the battery is in good condition, there are some minor scratches and dings on the device. Despite this, I am generally satisfied with the product. a while back though I did order a 2013 MacBook from Back Market refurbished products are worth the money and then on top of that if you feel like you need to add a extended warranty, it never hurts

For anyone else that was super worried to purchase from back market because of bad reviews or uncertainty of buying refurbished, here is my honest review as someone who was on a budget and looking for a MacBook for college. I too was super nervous about spending so much money on a MacBook Air without actually seeing it, but saw a ton of good reviews with this vendor and decided to trust it. I ended up buying a 2020 MacBook Air M1, 16GB Ram, with 256GB of storage in the color space grey in good condition. To my shock, the MacBook came in five days, even faster than it was expecting to come. When I opened the MacBook, it was wrapped in a heavy duty box with a thick bubble wrap to make sure it was super safe. When I opened the MacBook it looked AMAZING. There were a few small scratches on the underneath side of the Mac, but the top was absolutely flawless. I am so happy with this purchase and could honestly say that this is a great vendor that can be trusted! Even saved a few hundred bucks buying from back market instead of Apple! As far as everything else goes, the computer seems to operate perfectly, all speakers work. All buttons are in tact, and the touch pad is responsive. ...

I love my refurbished 2020 Macbook air. It arrived in a couple of days after ordering and was just as described. I had hoped to send my old Macbook in for some money back but I bogged down in getting my data and apps transferred to the new computer. I'm old and I should have hired someone to do it for me instead of going down the rabbit hole! I plan to use BackMarket for a refurbished iphone next.

This is the second macbook I have bought from backmarket, first being a 2017 MacBook Pro. I am very pleased with the quality of both units. This unit does have slightly more wear upon closer inspection but no so much as to be distracting or ugly. I'm fairly tech savvy and do an inspection of the interior as well and my main complaint is the refurbisher clearly didn't thoroughly clean the inside of the unit, there was dust and debris inside the fans and heatsinks. Though this is a minor issue to fix, im sure most people arent comfortable opening up their unit and blowing it out with compressed air. I would say im a 4.5/5 for this purchase, would be 5/5 if there was just a little more attention to detail with the interior cleaning instead of just an inspection!

I absolutely love my MacBook Pro!!! I’m so glad that I chose to buy a refurbished computer with.BackMarket. Honestly the best decisions I’ve made when it comes to buying tech. My MacBook is so awesome. She runs so well and smooth. No technical issues . And she’s a stunner. I bought her in fair condition but she came much newer than expected - only a few minor scratches and dinks. In buying an older intel-type Apple, I was a bit worried, but felt that the return option -January 31 - would give me a chance to see if this not quite new MacBook Pro would suffice. Short answer: YES it DOES!!! Moving forward, I suggest that most people buy at least a 16GB RAM device from 2024 onward. This one is 32GB RAM - and it's fast! I purchased this refurbished 2018 MacBook Pro to replace my 2013 MacBook Pro (purchased brand new 11 years ago). I'd intended to replace my old one in 2020, but that was the year the M1 came out. I don't like to buy the first iteration of any tech so I waited. And the world changed... I did buy an M2 Mac Mini but recently traded up for the newest M4 Mac Mini and I love that... I wish I could upgrade the MacBook Pro to the latest but not now. For my budget I can't buy the newest M4 MacBook Pro now. A lot has changed though... I work from home, so the desktop M4 is utilized much more than a MacBook. With that, using the 2013 MacBook Pro has become excruciating - so I decided to give this 2018 version a try since the cost is in reach for now.
